Not just any local home line, Flora Vida is one endeavor that shines through with Marian’s heart, as various advocacies are benefited from the creation of each piece.  If her collaboration with Teddy Manuel benefited the education and literacy of school children, part of the proceeds from her home range is dedicated to the assistance of communities in Paete, Laguna who have been affected by the pandemic and the recent typhoons.  This community is close to Marian’s heart, as some of her pieces are borne from their artisan’s hands. “Flora Vida also supports local communities by using wood from salvaged Mango Trees from Southroad Bay, Laguna and Paeta, Laguna in some of our products. By doing so, we are also helping Filipinos with their livelihood,” Marian reveals.
