Keep Your Little Architects and Designers Busy For Days With These Activities
Free downloadable kits and templates for children brought to you by Foster and Partners and the NCCA encourage creativity
Make the remaining days of quarantine with your children fun, constructive and as screen-free as possible with #architecturefromhome. This is an initiative by the award-winning British design firm, Foster + Partners, led by the Prtizker Prize winning architect, Norman Foster. The activities aim to engage youngsters in drawing, making, playing, reading and thinking. They can make their own paper skyscrapers, draw trees, create their own cities and learn how to use photography to tell a story through this site.
Similarly, the NCCA (National Commission of Culture and Arts) launched a Paper Craft series of downloadable templates for making models of various local historical landmarks, from the Rizal Monument to the Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Masjid. The NCCA started this project in 2016. They now have twenty downloadable paper craft monuments to keep your children’s days quarantine days busy. Visit this site for more information.
