This Summer, The Home Gets Couture Treatment With Curated Objects For The Home By Rajo Laurel

We’re all about fashion designers launching lines for the home! We’ve seen it before with the likes of Kate Spade, Vera Wang, Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren, and more recently in the local scene, Vania Romoff.  Branching out to the home market allows a fashion brand to fill the totality of a lifestyle.  For consumers, access to this means that the designer’s philosophy and “look,” if you will, can now extend from the contents of their closets to their tableware and more.  For those who prefer one-of-a-kind, relaxed luxury, look no further.  Summer couture just got more exciting with Rajo Laurel’s line for the home.

Rajo Laurel’s Spring / Summer 2021 (S/S21) shines a light on his many facets, his collections and their respective volumes being its refractions. Rajo and his design team took a step back to look at what once was through a different lens, speaking the same language in a different frequency, seeing things not for what they are but what they could be.

On House of Laurel  

His demicouture line, House of Laurel, takes on a new shape; defining what luxury means in our current state. With an amalgam of silhouettes, some bold, some relaxed, a singular thread binds it all - an elegance that is silent but potent. House of Laurel starts its S/S21 release with a volume entitled "anew", a selection of neutral-colored garments for elevating the everyday.  

On Objects*  

For his new curated homeware line, Objects*, Rajo shifts his focus on atmospheric adornments. With the importance of personal spaces evermore felt, he shares an array of one-of-a-kind vessels, homeware sets, and table-clothes (placemats, table runners, and the like) in fabrics collected overtime in his travels.
