The Asian Stars At The 2025 Met Gala

This year&#x27;s Costume Institute exhibition, inspired by Monica L. Miller’s book <em>Slaves to Fashion</em>, delved into how Black men have historically used fashion—particularly tailored menswear—as a form of resistance, identity, and cultural expression. The gala&#x27;s dress code, &quot;Tailored For You,&quot; invited attendees to interpret this legacy through personal style, resulting in a red carpet that was both a celebration and a statement.</p><div><br/></div><p><strong>BLACKPINK</strong>&#x27;s <strong>Lisa</strong>, <strong>Jennie</strong>, and <strong>Rosé </strong>each brought their unique flair to the blue carpet. Lisa&#x27;s custom Louis Vuitton featured a tailored black jacket with sheer detailing, while Jennie donned a classic black and white Chanel look with pearl accents. Rosé&#x27;s ensemble was a modern take on menswear, with a sleek black suit and a plunging neckline that balanced elegance and edge.</p><div><br/></div><p>There were several stars who made their Met Gala debut. <strong>S.coups</strong> of <strong>SEVENTEEN</strong> opted for an asymmetric grey suit and coat, custom made by Boss. Thai actress <strong>Freen Sarocha</strong> was a vision in Valentino, she really made her first time memorable with a statement look.
