Carol was intelligent, sassy, and highly creative. And so when we heard that she walked away from the glossy world of fashion to return home, we were curious. After two decades of industry success in Los Angeles and collaborations with major global retailers, Carol moved back to the Philippines to pursue a more intentional path.</p><p>Her new calling—design as a force for cultural preservation, community empowerment, and sustainable transformation.</p><p>With the launch of <strong>ANGKAN</strong>, her slow fashion label rooted in indigenous Filipino craftsmanship, Carol created more than clothing—she started a movement. Every garment is a tapestry of stories, threaded with hand-drawn symbols and talismans that channel positive energy. The premiere collection is a line of high-vibe pillows—each one a sensory explosion of color, texture, and cultural storytelling.</p><div><strong>From Fashion to Home</strong></div><p>ANGKAN Home is the natural evolution of Carol’s advocacy.
