<p><strong></strong>MANILA (<strong>2ND UPDATE</strong>) --<strong> </strong>Bando-Osmeña Pundok Kauswagan front runner and incumbent councilor Nestor Archival still leads the mayoralty race in Cebu city at 95% canvassed returns.</p><p>As of 9:20pm, Archival has so far garnered  244, 686 votes.</p><p>Current Cebu City mayor Raymond Garcia comes in second at 166,806 votes.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/regions/2025/5/10/11-nabbed-at-mactan-cebu-airport-for-attempting-to-transport-nearly-p-5b-in-cash-2015"><strong>11 nabbed at Mactan-Cebu Airport for attempting to transport nearly half a billion pesos</strong></a></div><p>For the vice mayoralty race, former Cebu City mayor Tomas Osmeña still leads with 223,919 votes while current acting vice mayor and basketball star Dondon Hontiveros has 182,671 votes in second place.</p><p>For congressional seat in the first district, incumbent representative Cutie Del Mar leads with 100,328 votes.</p><p>In the second district, also incumbent representative Edu Rama leads with 173,981 votes.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/5/12/ppcrv-gets-reports-of-poll-violence-automated-counting-machine-issues-0902"><strong>PPCRV gets reports of poll violence, automated counting machine issues</strong></a></div><p>Cebu city election officer Ferdinand Gujilde told  those present in the canvassing center that there are still two barangays in the mountainous area of the city that have  yet to transmit results due to signal difficulties.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>GARCIA CONCEDES</strong></div><p>The incumbent Cebu City mayor Garcia has conceded from the race.</p><p>&quot;My warmest congratulations to my colleague in the Sangguniang Panlungsod, Mayor-elect Nestor Archival, and Vice Mayor-elect Tommy Osmeña, for a successful campaign,&quot;  Garcia said in a  Facebook post.</p><p> He also thanked his supporters and the City of Cebu for the opportunity to serve as mayor.</p><p>&quot;One of the biggest blessings I have received in life is having been given the opportunity to serve the City of Cebu...
