<p>Three Filipino-Canadian kids between the ages of 6 and 15 were killed while 3 others were injured after an alleged drunk driver driving a minivan rammed into their vehicle in Toronto last Sunday, May 18.</p><p>Various media reports said the fatalities - Ramone, Jace and Maya Lavina - were inside a black Chrysler minivan carrying six people when a silver Dodge Caravan lost control and struck the van while it was stopped at a red light.</p><p>A <a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.tps.ca/media-centre/news-releases/62883/">Toronto Police report</a> said the crash happened at the eastbound off-ramp from Highway 401 to Renforth Drive at 12:30 a.m.</p><p>“The Dodge Caravan was traveling at a high rate of speed on the Renforth Drive exit ramp, lost control, and collided with the Chrysler Pacifica at the intersection of Renforth Drive and the Renforth Drive exit ramp from Highway 401,” police said.</p><p>It said the 40-year-old male driver of the Chrysler Pacifica and two passengers, a 35-year-old female and a 10-year-old child, were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.</p><p>“Three passengers of the Chrysler Pacifica, a 15-year-old child, a 13-year-old child, and a 6-year-old child, died as a result of the collision,” it added.</p><p>Police said the driver of the Dodge Caravan, identified as Ethan Lehouillier, 19, of Georgetown, Ontario, is facing various charges including impaired operation of a conveyance causing death, impaired operation of a conveyance causing bodily harm, dangerous driving causing death and dangerous driving causing bodily harm. </p><p>Ontario Premier Doug Ford said he is “heartbroken by the tragic and senseless deaths of three young children.”</p><p>“My thoughts are with the families grieving this unimaginable loss of life.
