When women start breastfeeding, they often have to give up half their wardrobe—knowing that they won’t get to wear most of their clothes in the next coming months. For the nursing mother, convenience is much more important than style.

Created in 2017 by Ellen Joy Co, who was a first-time mom who breastfed her son for two years, the brand came about during the time when there were very limited clothing choices for nursing moms. She didn’t want to compromise her style, so she started designing her own clothes. Her friends then started buying from her, which promoted her to formalize it with a brand.

What’s really special about Bub & Weave is that each piece is thoughtfully designed and is handmade. Every style is created with built-in nursing access that is subtle yet still very convenient as it allows moms to nurse anywhere without undressing and feeling exposed.
