7 Years And Counting! "The Hows Of Us" Stars Kathryn Bernardo And Daniel Padilla Mark Their Love Team's 7th Anniversary
Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla's The Hows of Us movie is now on its 2nd blockbuster week. Last Tuesday, it was announced on noontime show It's Showtime that the movie has already reached a box office total of P318 million, and since it continues to enjoy positive reviews, it's expected to have even more phenomenal results in the coming days.
"Among the KathNiel movies it's the fastest to have crossed the P300-million mark. Their previous effort, last year's 'Can’t Help Falling In Love,' took three weeks to do the same," stated an article on ABS-CBN News. "If it makes it to P400 million, it will become the only film to have done so to not feature Vice Ganda, John Lloyd Cruz, Piolo Pascual, or Vic Sotto."

Apart from their movie's success, the two are also celebrating another milestone: their KathNiel love team's 7th anniversary! Their fans were quick to express their happiness about supporting a love team that gets stronger and stronger every year, using the hashtag #KathNiel7YearsTHOUgether. And they even made several artcards to show the achievements of KathNiel over the years. One netizen even wished for a sequel to The Hows of Us, hoping it would be called The Vows of Us.

During their latest Metro cover shoot, we got to chat with Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla about their philosophy and the legacy they would want to be remembered for:
What is your philosophy?
Kathryn: "If you won’t do it 100%, then don’t do it. Nag-effort ka na eh, so 'wag mo gawin lahat half-heartedly kasi it’s either gawin mo or 'wag na lang."
Daniel: "Lahat ng mga ginagawa mong kabutihan ibabalik sa'yo unless kung pinilit mo lang naman 'yung sarili mong gawin 'yun, pero ang pinaka-secret lang sa Universe natin is if you have a good heart, I think you’re good to go."
If you can change the world, what would you do?
D: "Tanggalin lahat ng mga bansa siguro. Tanggalin natin lahat ng racist. Isa na lang, as one. I think 'yun 'yung pinaka-problema natin sa mga tao.
K: "Ako, maybe 'yung too much of technology, na sana ginagamit natin 'yung technology for education. Yeah, it’s very helpful pero sana mabalik 'yung before na hindi lahat 'yung nasa restaurant and then nagpo-phone 'yung lahat. 'Yung too much use of social media, sana mabago 'yun in the future kasi ngayon parang hindi na nag-uusap-usap ang mga tao eh."
How would you want to be remembered?
D: "Ako, gusto ko lang, wala, chill lang. Mabuting kaibigan, mabuting kapamilya."
K: "'Pag sa work ko as artista, someone na naka-apekto sa mga fans ko in a good way, naging inspiration nila ako. And off-cam naman siguro, someone na naging good friend, someone you can talk to, someone na fun, masaya kasama."
Happy 7th anniversary, KathNiel!
