In Photos: Celebs At The ABS-CBN Christmas Special 2020 Backstage Meet-And-Greet

Metro.Style got an exclusive backstage access at this grand music spectacle. See exclusive snaps with some of your favorite Kapamilya stars

The ABS-CBN Christmas Special pushed through as per tradition, albeit held differently because of the pandemic and the network shutdown. The "Ikaw ang Liwanag at Ligaya: The ABS-CBN Christmas Special" was an extraordinary, multiplatform musical spectacle aimed at raising funds for victims of typhoons Rolly and Ulysses. Once again, Kapamilya artists gathered not just to entertain Filipinos but to also champion a good cause during such a challenging time.

The historic "Ikaw ang Liwanag at Ligaya: The ABS-CBN Christmas Special" was made available via the Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z channel 11, TFC, iWantTFC, and KTX. A pre-show, dubbed "Kumu-Kutitap ang Pasko," was seen on Kumu, KTX, and iWantTFC.

While the main show, with all the world-class performances, was happening, a Backstage Meet-and-Greet was also livestreamed on Kumu and on Metro.Style's YouTube channel. Hosted by Bianca Gonzalez-Intal, MJ Felipe, and Metro editor-in-chief Geolette Esguerra, the backstage access gave viewers a chance to see more of their favorite Kapamilya stars, as they were interviewed about what they thought of this year's "Ikaw ang Liwanag at Ligaya: The ABS-CBN Christmas Special," their latest projects, their holiday plans, their outfits, as well as their inspiring Christmas messages.

Viewers on Kumu, or the Kumunizens, were able to extend help to the typhoon victims by simply sending virtual gifts and purchasing Tulong-Tulong E-Christmas Card donation vouchers. All proceeds will go to the Tulong-Tulong sa Pag-Ahon public service campaign of ABS-CBN Foundation – Sagip Kapamilya.
