The mom of one took to Instagram this week to share her straightforward message of body positivity and self-love, a trend we've observed celebrities like Lovi Poe, Bianca Gonzalez-Intal, and Iza Calzado join and be at the forefront of.

After taking a step back from the limelight to concentrate on being a full-time mom to her seven-year-old daughter, Andi simultaneously went down the path of self-acceptance and most importantly, learning how to ignore those with only negativity to spare. The journey has since turned her into a sun-loving beach babe who frequents the country's top surfing spots, often proudly showing off her best assets in figure-flattering swimwear.

feel like Im going crazy being in the city for a little over a month. On the other hand, knowing that this is only temporary keeps me optimistic about everything Manila has to offer. I now enjoy a regular dose of all things I used to hate doing, like going to the mall for example. For some odd reason running errands makes me feel like such an adult and I love it.Lol. How ironic is it that the only way I learned to appreciate city life, somehow is by not being based in it. Maybe it’s true what they say: you’ll never know what you have till its gone... JOKE. I would never replace island life for city life in a million lifetimes.?? but atleast now, Im glad to be back every so often. Atleast we have a community pool.hehe

Best of all, Andi's confidence in her own skin is partnered with the shift to healthy living; the 28-year-old is now all about her lean, mean poke bowls, well-balanced meals made with organically grown produce, and getting as much exercise she can, be it on the water or on land, every chance she gets. Body love to her is a holistic commitment to look great inside and out!

It's a lovely way to set an example for her little girl, Adrianna Gabrielle (or Ellie), who will soon grow up to be a young woman faced with similar challenges. With a mom like Andi, Ellie will surely be equipped with the self-confidence and sure-footedness to cruise through life without issue, knowing that her beauty lies not within what people have to say, but in the value she believes she possesses.

Andi's complete post reads, "My appearance hasn’t really changed, I’m very much aware of that. I admit to still having insecurities like everyone else. What changed is that I just got tired of hating my body. Now, I have come to accept myself for the way I am. Freckles, scars, stretch marks and all."

Appropriately, Andi's message came a few days after Ellie's birthday when this proud mom also shared her wish for her baby girl: to teach her "that the joy of life isn’t about the material things, but the priceless memories we are blessed to be able make together. The moments of belly-aching laughter, the conversations we had, my well thought of answers to her curious questions. And being able to share them with loved ones."

Here is a series of photos to prove how Ellie and I evolved from being self-timer noobs to masters all on her birthday. Taken at @dakakresort, to which we are so grateful for, since they served as a venue for the ultimate best day ever! We were ecstatic to feel like princesses in paradise, but I am thankful for the experience moreso because of those little moments we were able to share with eachother. Teaching her that the joy of life isn’t about the material things, but the priceless memories we are blessed to be able make together. The moments of belly- aching laughter, the conversations we had, my well thought of answers to her curious questions. And being able to share them with loved ones (hi ate @abbyasistio!) we haven’t seen in a while, and new found friends alike.— it’s these that I want to look back on, and hopefully Ellie would take with her as we both go through our journey in this wonderful life.
