In Photos: Scenes From Anne Curtis' Sweet Gender Reveal Party And Baby Shower

The littlest addition to the Curtis-Heussaff brood is going to be a baby girl!

The awesome news was announced on Thursday at Anne Curtis' intimate baby shower and gender reveal party rolled into one.

As guests gathered to witness the big reveal, Anne's husband and restaurateur, Erwan Heussaff, readied a big cake wiped with white icing that he slowly sliced with the cheers of everyone watching, making the moment extra exciting. (Most of them guessed that it would be a girl and got it right!). 

As Erwan lifted the generously portioned cake slice, it revealed a hollow inside the big cake that was filled with pink sprinkles! 

The unique gender reveal was met with a kiss from the happy husband and wife, much to the delight of their loved ones present. (See the exact moment the sprinkles spilled out from the cake below!). 

Keeping the special occasion private with only a select group of family and friends invited, Anne welcomed the likes of her fellow Metro 30 cover girls Bea Alonzo and Angelica Panganiban; Liz Uy; Isabelle Daza; Antoinette Taus; Dra. Vicki Belo and Scarlet Snow; the Kramer family; her blk cosmetics partners Jacqe Yuengtian-Gutierrez and Stephanie Yap-Abellada; Anne's fave glam team duo, Robbie Piñera and Raymond Santiago; Monching Tabuldan, as well as longtime friends Mia Arcenas-Branellec, Niki Vargas-Coscolluela and of course, her sister-in-law, Solenn Heussaff!

The mommy-to-be was absolutely radiant in a white Vania Romoff number (which Erwan matched with his own sandy-hued ensemble) paired with simple locks let loose and a fresh, glowing face. 

The gender reveal came at a lovely time, as these parents-to-be aren't only enjoying the Christmas season, but also recently celebrated their second wedding anniversary in November. 

The evening was full of laughter, games, drinks, and a feast, all of which made this time in Anne's life all the more memorable. 

As she's about to enter her third trimester, Anne has taken a temporary break from showbiz to focus on her and her baby's health. She's due to give birth in March.
