Anne Curtis Finally Meets Her Ultimate K-Drama Idol, Gong Yoo!
After months and months of dreaming of a chance meet-up, her wishes were granted—and while she was dressed in stylish Louis Vuitton, too!
Dressed to the nines in head-to-toe Louis Vuitton, Anne Curtis was at the Louis Vuitton Maison opening in Seoul, South Korea when it happened.
As she was getting ready to explore the store and pose for photographs, she and internationally famous Korean actor Gong Yoo chanced upon each other and eye contact was made. And in the style of all the K-dramas and Korean movies Anne has fallen in love with over the years, she smiled and so did he, until the only thing left to do was to introduce each other and pose for a photo.
It finally happened—Anne officially saw and met the great Gong Yoo, a celeb she's literally been fangirling over for years!
In case you didn't know already, Anne is a major Gong Yoo fan and over the years, has gone as far as traveling to Korea and Canada to visit some, if not all, of the major filming locations featured in shows and movies he's starred in including Goblin and Coffee Prince. (Her makeup brand, blk Cosmetics, even released a Korean-inspired makeup collection earlier this year as an ode to her fascination with everything Korean).
But as the story goes, Anne's Gong Yoo dreams began when she and her husband, Erwan Heussaff, watched Train to Busan in 2016 but reached fever pitch in 2017 when she was lucky enough to purchase tickets to a fan meet in Hong Kong. At the event, she was able to watch her Korean oppa perform just meters away from her, but alas; the evening ended with no photo of them together.
The item on her bucket list remained unchecked for two years until Louis Vuitton brought them together at the fateful event, which makes one thing certain—good things come to those who wait!
More so, Anne didn't get a photo with just Gong Yoo, but with Sehun of EXO, a K-pop group beloved by Filipino fans far and wide.
