Anne Curtis And Xian Lim Share How They Bond With Their Moms Despite The Distance And Their Busy Schedule
As celebrities with packed schedules, it’s always a challenge for Anne Curtis and Xian Lim to spare some time to bond with their mothers. But the key to keeping these precious moments, the two celebrities reveal, is by immortalizing every bonding time through photos.
In an exclusive interview with Anne, she shared how lucky she is to have a mom who has continuously supported her since day one, and how they are staying connected despite the distance.
“I’m very much happy and proud that my Mama has been there for me through every step of my journey. Although she’s usually in Melbourne together with my brother, we make sure that we’re always connected—by heart or even over the phone! Just recently, my sister and I went to spend a quick vacation there, and we really make the most out of it. I guess, I will always treasure any moment we spent together, mapa-simpleng chika man ’yan through phone or travel out of the country,” Anne shares.
In her Instagram post last Mother’s Day, Anne also shared a throwback photo of her mom and herself when she was a baby with the caption, “Thank you for taking such good care of me when I was little girl—na tipong kahit lamok ayaw mo ako madapuhan (who can relate?). And now that the tables have turned, I promise to do everything that I can to take care of you, to make sure you live a comfortable and happy life! There isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for you! I love you very much mama!! Your wish will always be my command! Missing you more than the miles between us!!! Hope you enjoyed Darwin! I’ll always be your little wobbly and dyosa.”
Although Xian is not too far away from the two supermoms in his life, he says he also makes sure that every moment is captured and preserved whenever they are together.
He says, “I can say that I’m really close to my Mom and Lola. So, despite my busy days at work, I always make sure to spend time with them. We like to capture every moment when we’re all together, be it abroad or over simple breakfasts at home. These two are indeed Cherryfic moms who have selflessly devoted themselves to love and take care of us. I don’t think I would be who I am today if not for these two special women in my life.”
