Kang Ha-neul in "When the Camellia Blooms"
Kang Ha-neul’s comeback project after military discharge scored him a Best Actor nomination. His “When the Camellia Blooms” character Hwang Yong-sik is a police office who falls in love with Gong Hyo-jin’s character and gives her the love that she’s deprived of. His role exudes the much-needed optimism and sensitivity in K-Drama male characters.
Ju Ji-hoon in "Hyena"
Ju Ji-hoon is nominated for his role as ruthless elite lawyer Yoon Hee-jae. As the lawyer, Ju Ji-hoon played the role of someone who has enjoyed massive success and is full of pride and confidence.
