Actress-Vlogger Bea Alonzo Reaches 1 Million YouTube Subscribers

Bea Alonzo just reached a new milestone in her career as a public figure. The award-winning actress is now a full-fledged vlogger, too, and her YouTube channel reaching 1 million subscribers is proof of that.

Bea Alonzo took to Instagram to share the happy news that her YouTube channel has reached 1 million subscribers. And she did so with a fun fact and a bonus anecdote: "So, I found out today that we have reached ONE MILLION subscribers on YouTube. And today also happens to be the day when I started in showbiz twenty years ago." She also made sure to thank her fans for supporting her in every step of her journey.

Bea started her acting career back in 2001, with her first projects being the youth-oriented TV series K2BU and the teleserye Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay which were both launched in 2002. She was just 13 years old when she breathed life into the now-iconic character of lawyer Katrina Argos in the said teleserye.

More than two years ago, in June 2018, Bea Alonzo started her YouTube channel to connect with more of her fans. To mark that new chapter in her life, her first vlog showed her going for the shortest haircut she's ever done. 40 videos later, she's now here celebrating this milestone of having 1 million subscribers on her YouTube channel.

Her vlog, which shows that life is indeed "BEAutiful," features a good and interesting mix of content—from her travels, her beauty and fitness routines, her big fashion moments in events like the ABS-CBN Ball, as well as the special occasions in her life. 

Last year, as people were quarantined in their own homes due to the pandemic, Bea noticeably became a little more experimental with her vlogs and was regularly uploading new videos, proving to everyone that she's serious and passionate about taking this career direction. She did a little makeover for the look and feel of her vlog but still retained the authenticity, the rawness, and even the wow factor her vlog has always been loved for. With the result, it was obvious that Bea is having tons of fun with this endeavor as she gets to flex her creative muscles through it.

As of this writing, her most viewed vlogs are her house tour, her collab with YouTuber mimiyuuuh, and her "Never Have I Ever" challenge with Angel Locsin.

Aside from vlogging, Bea is also busy with her acting commitments. She's reportedly working on three films, one being her reunion movie with her One More Chance partner John Lloyd Cruz.
