Kim Ji-Hoon for "Flower of Evil"
From "Flowers for My Life" to "Flower Boy Next Door" to "Flower of Evil," the 38-year-old Kim Ji-hoon is one ageless actor who's been a part of the entertainment industry since 2002. Kim Ji-hoon's "Flower of Evil" character Baek Hee-sung is the son of a well-off hospital director and a pharmacist. As to how he turned out to be a villain in this Lee Joon-gi and Moon Chae-won starrer, you'll have to see the twists for yourself. All we can tell you is that the character he remarkably brought to life is pivotal to the whole narrative of this suspense melodrama. What's next for him is a starring role in the Korean remake of "Money Heist," titled "La Casa de Papel."

Choi Dae-Hoon for "Beyond Evil"
41-year-old actor Choi Dae-hoon has been acting since 2007. He's been a cast member of popular K-dramas like "Do You Like Brahms?," "Flower of Evil," "Crash Landing on You," "Lawless Lawyer," and "My Father is Strange." For this year's Baeksang nomination, he was recognized for his portrayal of Park Jung-je, a lieutenant of the Investigation Support Team at Munju Police Station and the son of a congresswoman. In the story, it's discovered later on that there's more to his character than meets the eye.

Lee Hee-Joon for "Mouse"
Lee Hee-joon, 41, has been a staple in the Korean entertainment scene since 1998, building an incredible filmography that features a really long list of films, dramas, and even plays/musicals. His past K-dramas include "Mistress," "The Legend of the Blue Sea," "Steal Heart," "The Queen of Office," "My Husband Got a Family" (which earned him five acting awards), and "Wild Romance." Last year, he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the Baeksang as well for the film "The Man Standing Next." This time, it's the crime thriller series "Mouse" that has put him in the limelight, for his role as hot-tempered detective GO Mu-chi who's looking to take revenge on his parents' murderer.

Oh Jung-Se for "It's Okay to Not Be Okay"
Oh Jung-se returns as a Best Supporting Actor nominee at Baeksang Arts Awards. Last year, the 44-year-old actor got this Baeksang award for K-drama "When the Camellia Blooms," and he delivered such a memorable acceptance speech, sharing how he's done over 100 projects at the time but has only been awarded a few time. His inspiring message to others was: "I hope you don't give up or get discouraged. Whatever it is that you do, I hope you continue doing it." This time he's nominated for "It's Okay to Not Be Okay," where he played the role of Moon Sang-tae, who has autism spectrum disorder; Sang-tae is the older brother of Kim Soo-hyun's Moon Gang-tae. His upcoming K-drama is "Mount Jiri," wherein he stars alongside Jun Ji-hyun and Ju Ji-hoon.

Kim Seon-Ho for "Start-Up"
34-year-old Kim Seon-ho made so much buzz last year for his portrayal of self-made venture capitalist Han Ji-pyeong in "Start-Up," giving many some serious second lead syndrome (some even argued that he wasn't simply a second lead!) as he figured in a love triangle with Bae Suzy's Seo Dal-mi and Nam Joo-hyuk's Nam Do-san. Kim Seon-ho only debuted in K-dramas in 2017, with the series "Good Manager." He has since been part of K-dramas like "Strongest Deliveryman," "100 Days My Prince," "Welcome to Waikiki 2," and "Catch the Ghost." His next small screen project is "Seaside Village Cha Cha Cha," a rom-com that pairs him with actress Shin Min-ah.
