BGYO just released the official music video for their comeback single "The Baddest," and it's so good! To add to the song's catchy tunes, the ultra danceable choreography, and the MV's creative execution, there was a special appearance by Metro.Style cover girl and Trese voice actress Liza Soberano, too!

In the music video, which was conceptualized and produced by Youmeus MNL, BGYO members Gelo (Angelo Troy Rivera, leader), Akira (Akira Morishita), JL (John Lloyd Toreliza), Nate (Nathaniel Porcalla), and Mikki (Michael Claver Jr.) act as agents with different skills, and are recruited into the Ace Elite Secret Service by Binibining Haliya, portrayed by Liza.



Ahead of the release of the official music video of "The Baddest" this Friday, Star Music teased fans with the release of the track's audio. The song was composed, written, and arranged by Tha aristocratz, TC Mack, with additional lyrics by Jonathan Manalo and Tagalog rap lyrics by BGYO members Angelo Troy Rivera and Akira Morishita.

Earlier on August 20, Star Music shared the happy news that BGYO's "The Baddest" ranked first on iTunes Philippines chart within an hour of its release on Friday midnight. It also charted in several territories like Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Singapore, UAE, New Zealand, and Taiwan.

"The Baddest" is this five-member P-pop boy band's fifth original song since they debuted in January of this year with the single "The Light." The other songs they performed are "Feel Good Pilipinas" (with KZ Tandingan), "He's Into Her," and "Runnin'" (with Keiko Necesario). 


What's next for BGYO later this year are a full-length album and a joint concert with their fellow Star Hunt Academy trainees BINI.
