Bianca Gonzalez And JC Intal's Sweet Vow Renewals Will Make You Cry Happy Tears

"Mahal, like I said 5 years ago, may we both never forget the feeling of our wedding day, and may we both never forget the feeling of today," she said

Bianca Gonzalez and JC intal celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary with a vow renewal. Some couples give gifts, others travel, some dine and wine, or even stay in and chill to celebrate this occasion! But for this couple, their fifth year as husband wife was deemed the perfect time to renew their vows, a surprise put together than Bianca herself as a sweet gesture for her unsuspecting husband.

With daughters Lucia and Carmen and the Cocoon Studios PH team as their only witnesses, the couple recited their personalized vows in front of family friend Brother Hans Pe, prompting both of them to shed tears more than once.

As told by Bianca, she was delighted to realize that she and JC had written similar things despite preparing their vows separately. Both of them talked about how, after five years of marriage, being a wedded couple feels realer than ever, yet the love they share remains big and bright, and is even stronger than it was before.

On Instagram, she wrote, "Our vows during our wedding day were idealistic and said through rose-tinted specs. Our vows today after 5 years and 2 kids were more rooted and real. I cried hearing my husband share what was in his heart, and I cried while reassuring him of my love and apologizing for my shortcomings in the midst of the daily grind of my being focused on our young kids' needs. We smiled at each other hearing each one's vows, because we wrote them separately, but apparently we ended our vows saying the exact same thing. Mahal, like I said 5 years ago, may we both never forget the feeling of our wedding day, and may we both never forget the feeling of today."

(Warning: Long #wifeydiaries post!) Five years may seem a bit "soon" to renew wedding vows, but for us, we felt it was the perfect time to be reminded of what marriage is and how we can continue to nurture our relationship as husband and wife. Anyone who has been married for several years knows that married life is FAR from picture perfect moments like these. And anyone who is married with kids knows that the blissful newlywed stage is FAAAR from the exhausted, sleepless, breastfeeding-and-chasing-after-kids stage. Marriage is a daily choice to love your spouse. There are days when you say or do hurtful things. There are decisions and situations where you don't get along. Marriage requires effort, and it is an unending series of mistakes and learnings. JC and I aren't really big on gift-giving, so we felt this was the best way for us to celebrate our fifth year. Our vows during our wedding day were idealistic and said through rose-tinted specs. Mahal, like I said 5 years ago, may we both never forget the feeling of our wedding day, and may we both never forget the feeling of today. 💕 #jcandb . . It was a small celebration with just our kids and our ates at home, but we are grateful to many special people. Thank you to our family friend Brother @hans_zolo21 for your precious time and words of wisdom that brought me to tears. Thank you to my dear friends @marionhdp and @rheenuh for arranging all the flowers in such short notice; you completed the feeling of today. Thank you to our favorites @cocoonstudioph for capturing these moments of our lives and helping us remember them forever. . . To all married couples reading this, I highly recommend renewal of vows when you feel the time is right. ❤❤❤

Appreciating all that Bianca did for him for their vow renewals, JC also took the time to say something about the special event on Instagram.

The dad of two said, "Today, 5 years into it, we renewed our vows as husband and wife with Lucia and Carmen as witness. 🙏 Thank you to our friend Bro Hans Pe for your time and words of wisdom, and of course to my wife for this beautiful surprise."

Mirroring her wedding outfit that she wore to her low-profile Lagen, El Nido wedding in 2014, Bianca sported a simple all-white outfit accessorized with a quirky flower crown perched elegantly on her signature sleek bob. JC and their kids matched her perfectly, each with their own all-white ensemble

Overall, the ceremony was intimate yet meaningful, much like the many family events that Bianca and JC have enjoyed together.

If there's anything that other married couples can learn from this occasion, Bianca advises them to consider renewing their vows someday when they both feel that the time is right.
