The Star-Studded Blue Dragon Film Awards 2022
We spotted these Korean stars at the 43rd Blue Dragon Film Awards
The annual Blue Dragon Film Awards 2022 is an awarding function that recognizes cinematic contributions of high artistic value. Attended by household names and numerous entertainment stalwarts, the event transpired on November 25 at the Yeouido KBS Hall in Seoul.
For five consecutive years, the ceremony has been hosted by South Korean actor and actress Yoo Yeon Seok and Kim Hye Soo, respectively. First created by The Chosun Ilbo newspaper, the prestigious congregation is now presented by Sports Chosun.
The official opening of the star-studded celebration is graced by celebrities from the Korean film industry including IU, Go Kyung Pyo, and Yoona. Formed in 1963 to further the development of domestic films, the festival is currently on its 43rd edition.
Top-billed by “Best Actor” Park Hae Il and “Best Actress” Tang Wei, the thriller-mystery movie Decision To Leave also bagged the “Best Film” and “Best Director” awards. The 2022 project is directed by producer, screenwriter, and former film critic and filmmaker Park Chan Wook.
