Celebrities on the Red Carpet at BIFF 2023
These stars truly glistened at the opening gala of the film festival
A lineup of stars at the Busan International Film Festival 2023 opening show lit up the occasion as the affair officially kicked off on October 4. The brightest Korean celebrities and global cinephiles reigned on the red carpet in haute couture numbers, ready to navigate the grand gala’s array of activities.
Hosted by Park Eun Bin, the 28th Busan International Film Festival was held at the Busan Cinema Center in South Korea where thousands have traveled all the way to to witness the annual BIFF.
The BIFF 2023 will run from October 4 through October 13, featuring a range of films from 69 different countries worldwide. The celebration is dedicated to creating a community of industry dignitaries on an international scale.
Started in 1996, the esteemed event has blossomed into Asia’s biggest film festival, in which the Asian Contents and Film Market, Busan Story Market, Asian Project Market, Asian Cinema Fund, Asia Contents Awards and Global OTT Awards, Platform Busan, Forum BIFF, Community BIFF, and BIFF Everywhere take place.
The festival’s Asia Contents Awards and Global OTT Awards also conferred accolades to the following:
