Celebrities in Halloween Costumes at the “Shake, Rattle, and Ball”
See how these stars imbibed the most iconic Filipino mythological figures!
On October 30, 2023, entertainment personality and entrepreneur Tim Yap launched the first ever “Shake, Rattle, and Ball” function at the National Museum of the Philippines’ National Museum of Anthropology in Ermita, Manila.
The Halloween-themed party is a tribute to a host of mythical creatures and monsters of the Philippines, spanning a spectrum of supernatural forces native to the Filipino culture and community.
Co-chaired by Tim Yap and Senior High lead Andrea Brillantes, the ball also served as an advanced peek into “Alamat,” a public art exhibit featuring an ensemble of artists including National Artist for Film Kidlat Tahimik and installation artist and designer Leeroy New.
Among the celebrities who graced the creative gathering were Can’t Buy Me Love headliners Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, Raymond Gutierrez, Alodia Gosiengfiao-Quimbo, and many more. The gala will be followed by future editions as per the event’s Instagram page.
