2021 Year-Ender: The Trending Metro Cover Stars
Andrea Brillantes, DonBelle, Liza Soberano, Beatrice Luigi Gomez, and more—these defined our 2021
As we get ready to say goodbye to 2021 and hello to 2022, we take a look back on the Metro, Metro.Style, and Metro Society digital covers that defined our year.
The featured celebrities and personalities on our covers celebrated various milestones with us, such as career breakthroughs, showbiz anniversaries, as well as life updates like birthdays and first-time motherhood journeys.
International stars like rock band Incubus' Brandon Boyd and Thai superstars Mario Maurer, Nonkul Chanon, and Gulf Kanawut joined our lineup of cover stars this year.
We also had Miss Universe 2021 Top 5 Finalist, Philippines' Beatrice Luigi Gomez. And despite pandemic-related challenges, we also got to pull off a destination shoot in Dubai with another beauty queen, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach.
Along with the phenomenal success of their series He's Into Her, young stars Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano (known together as DonBelle) likewise graced our cover. Plus, one of our biggest cover shoots to date: our 18-layout feature with debutante Andrea Brillantes!
