After making us swoon over her super lush and feminine springtime wedding last March, Chanel Iman is melting hearts for the second time this year with her first ever experience with motherhood. 

The Victoria's Secret angel is owning pregnancy and treating the life-changing experience like it's the best thing that's ever happened to her. And indeed it is, as her first child—a daughter —is a blessing that she and her footballer husband Sterling Shepard are welcoming with open arms. 

Revealing the good news in an Instagram post published in May, the 27-year-old has continued to post updates about the nine month-long journey for her followers to enjoy. She's mostly shown off the fact that the best things about her life have remain unchanged—and have even gotten better—with the onset of motherhood; she continues to travel, hit the beach, dress stylishly, work with her favorite brands, and enjoy the company of those closest to her, be it with her friends or her husband.

Still, the first-time mom has also decided to keep things real by recently opening up about the relatable struggles of pregnancy that rarely any mom is immune to. The changes in her diet, morning sickness, and figuring out how to deal with a changing body were all concerns she needed to address in the beginning but has seemingly gotten a hang of. 

Aside from their baby's gender reveal, this couple has also let the world know that their expected due date is on August 19. Though Sterling is set to play a pre-season game that day, Chanel has reassured everyone that she and his coach are trying their best to work schedules out for him to be present during his daughter's birth.
