Christina Aguilera Is Back With A New Kanye West-Produced Single, A New Music Video, And An Upcoming Album

“I love you. I know you’ve been waiting. It needed to be perfect for you, for me. I’m ready. It’s time. I’m finally feeling liberated.”

6-time Grammy Award winner, pop superstar Christina Aguilera took to Instagram story, to post an announcement saying, “Tomorrow 8AM NY (Worldwide),” with an audio of her uttering the lines above. May 3rd immediately became a holiday for the entire Christina Aguilera fan base.

Known for her vocal ability and wide range, Christina has released numerous anthems from the US #1s “Genie in a Bottle,” “What a Girl Wants,” “Come On Over Baby (All I Want is You)," Moulin Rouge theme “Lady Marmalade,” UK #1s “Dirrty” and “Beautiful” to the crowd favorites “Ain’t No Other Man,” “Hurt,” and “Candyman.”

It has been six years since Christina released her fifth studio album Lotus, but various projects filled in some of the pop diva’s schedule that we can go on and on talking about it for minutes; she served as a judge for the hit US version of The Voice, lent vocals for Pitbull’s “Feel This Moment,” and performed an emotional duet with A Great Big World for 2013’s massive hit “Say Something,” among other worthwhile pursuits.

Maintaining her music career is certainly not an easy task for Christina, 35, who is now a mother of two to Max, 10, and Summer Rain, 3. Christina has been very vocal about being so comfortable with the domestic life, and is so eager to treat her fans this time around and do a follow-up tour to her 2006-2007’s "Back to Basics" tour.

The clock was ticking. It was nearly seconds away before the hand strike at 8. Fans were in shock. At 8PM (Philippine time zone) Christina released her much-anticipated 2018 banger “Accelerate” assisted by hip-hop rappers Ty Dolla $ign and 2 Chainz. The track was accompanied by a music video (which featured some VHS footages provided by Filipino filmmaker Miko Revereza) and an album art for her sixth studio album Liberation showing a bare-faced Christina.

Known for her signature red lips and heavy yet playful makeup, the “Dirrty” singer has finally ditched the powders and glitters and her signature chops–stripping it all off and finally feeling liberated.

Due to hit the shelves, online music stores and streaming services June 15th, the 15-track album includes collaborations with Kanye West and Demi Lovato, the former giving Christina the RnB/hip hop sound that she likes.

Hitting the #1 spot on various charts ,including the local iTunes chart, fans are now surely dancing to the beats while belting at the top of their lungs trying to impersonate Christina’s voice. Surely this one is a juggernaut.
