BAFTA- and Golden Globes-nominated actress Dolly De Leon and Seoul International Drama Awards’ Outstanding Asian Star awardee Kathryn Bernardo have nailed the teaser trailer for the dark comedy A Very Good Girl. The duo headliners are making huge waves in the cyber world as Star Cinema gave us a glimpse of their characters through the clip released last Friday, August 4, 2023.

Kathryn’s role as Philo is somewhat a surprise to the audience, too, as the Kapamilya actress portrays a rather dark and riveting persona this time. Toward the end of the trailer, a crisp expletive even came out of Kathryn’s mouth. Meanwhile, Dolly plays the rich and powerful Molly, whom Philo seems to look up to.

Celebrities reacted to Dolly De Leon and Kathryn Bernardo’s characters in the movie as the trailer made it to their social media. “Worth it! Can’t wait!” said actress Ria Atayde. Loisa Andalio also showed her support. “Panood na po!” the Kapamilya celebrity commented. Seasoned star Ronaldo Valdez was taken aback, too.

Apart from A-listers Dolly and Kathryn, the stellar cast includes Angel Aquino, Donna Cariaga, Chie Filomeno, Gillian Vicencio, Jake Ejercito, Nour Hooshmand, Kaori Oinuma, Althea Ruedas, Nathania Guerrero, and Ana Abad Santos. Created by Marionne Dominique Mancol, Daniel Saniana, and Jumbo Albano, A Very Good Girl is directed by Petersen Vargas and creative-directed by Carmi Raymundo.

A Very Good Girl will be dropped in cinemas this September 27, 2023.
