As their first teleserye, Can't Buy Me Love, nears its finale, Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano once again displayed their undeniable chemistry through their latest photo shoot with Netflix Philippines, where the show can be streamed.

Photographed by Shaira Luna, Donny and Belle obviously had a blast during their shoot that's reminiscent of the trending vintage yearbook photos. Rocking a bold couple-dressing style in well-coordinated maroon outfits and posing against a blue tie-dye backdrop, DonBelle’s genuine smiles and solid connection shine through. In the shoot, Donny and Belle are seen posing so close to each other, holding hands, squeezing each other's faces, and doing a trust fall. The results of the trust fall, Netflix PH shared, 'are blurred because of too much movement, and they're laughing a little too much for it to be photogenic.' Despite that, the magic comes from their raw and candid emotions.

In CBML, Donny plays the hardworking, street-smart Bingo who lives in Binondo; Belle’s role is Caroline, who comes from a well-off Chinese-Filipino family and who, despite having a flair for running a business, is considered a black sheep in her family. Viewers are treated to countless BingLing kilig moments as these characters' worlds collide with remarkable impact.

One of CBML’s directors, Mae Cruz-Alviar, has nothing but good words for these young stars and their love team that has come a long way since the pandemic.

Direk Mae shared, “I always call DonBelle the pandemic love team. They started with mostly streaming projects. So this is their first to be known in the mainstream on free TV and Netflix [at the same time], and that’s a big thing for them. Now they’re doing scenes that are heavier. They’re doing scenes na talagang heavy drama, and the romance is not just, you know, like high school. It’s romance on a deeper level. You’re talking about someone you want to spend your life with, and the characters are very deep characters going through a lot.”

We can't wait to see BingLing's chemistry further unfold in the remaining episodes of Can't Buy Me Love.
