DonBelle and KDLex on Joining "Star Magic 30: Beyond the Stars" US Tour

To mark the 30 years of magic that it has brought to the entertainment scene, top artist management and agency Star Magic is slated for a US concert tour, dubbed "Star Magic 30: Beyond the Stars," with some of its stars this coming August. With the brightest talents on board, performances are polished to perfection to serve major spectacles that the audience will certainly love.

With the stellar inclusion of Zanjoe Marudo, Carlo Aquino, Kim Chiu, Donny Pangilinan, Belle Mariano, KD Estrada, Alexa Ilacad, Maymay Entrata, Edward Barber, Charlie Dizon, AC Bonifacio, Maris Racal, and Andrea Brillantes, the audiences are definitely in for a treat.

For "Beyond the Stars," the artists will hold a concert in different parts of the US: Brooklyn, New York on August 6 at the Kings Theatre; Bay Area, San Francisco at The Warfield on August 12; and Beverly Hills, Los Angeles at Saban Theatre on August 14.

As excitement for the tour builds, the Star Magic artists are moving ahead with planning, preparing, and packing for their trip. 

One of the artists joining the event, Alexa Ilacad, expressed her eagerness to embark on the celebratory concert. In the media conference for the tour, she shared, “It’s a huge honor na mapasama sa ganitong klaseng event. I’ve been with Star Magic all my life, and the fact that they’re bringing me with them now means so much to me.”

She also adds, “When they told us that the international fans really wanted to see us [and] wanted to meet us, it really warms my heart, because as much as they wanna see us, I wanna see them even more.”

Alexa’s on-screen partner, KD Estrada, also expressed his excitement while briefly looking back on his career as a rising actor. “Honestly, it feels like a dream because I remember [that] I joined Star Magic when I was 16 years old, and I never thought that I would make it this far,” he points out.

“We’ll give you a good show,” he assures, addressing his answer to the audience.

When asked about how they felt when they found out about the upcoming tour, love team DonBelle (Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano) said they look forward to finally meeting more of their fans in person. Their hit series He's Into Her was released during the pandemic, so they didn't have the chance to see them earlier.

“Honestly, being stuck in the Philippines for four years, I haven’t been able to interact with our audience abroad as well. Hindi lang sila ’yung may aabangan e. Tayo rin—we have something to look forward to, and it’s to meet them, and to actually perform for them, and [to] put smiles on their faces, and to bring 'home' to them,” opens Belle, who is traveling abroad for the first time with Star Magic.

Donny adds, “We’re super excited to give back everything that they’ve been giving to us. This is just our way of thanking them and putting smiles on their faces, hopefully, ’cause I’m sure you guys would put smiles on ours the moment we see all of you.”

The grand kick-off party of the "Beyond The Stars" US concert tour will happen at the Newport Performing Arts Theatre of Resorts World Manila on July 23.

As an entertainment industry pillar, Star Magic has launched the careers of many of the country’s brightest stars and continues to passionately train new and rising artists through a series of workshops in different entertainment disciplines.
