Elmo Magalona and Janella Salvador Look So In Love In Boracay!
While photos from Maxene Magalona and Robby Mananquil’s Boracay wedding ruled our feeds last January 11, we can’t help but love the event’s beautiful setting and the couple’s touching vows.
But in the sea of white-clad guests, there’s another couple who particularly stood out: Elmo Magalona and Janella Salvador, who are known together for their ’ship name ElNella.
The wedding of his sister is a truly special event, and for Elmo to bring Janella as his date means they share a special relationship as well.
Ever since the two started to spend more time together, working on various projects (Born for You, Wansapanataym: Holly and Mau, Wansapanataym: Christmas Witch, Wansapanataym: Jasmine’s Flower Powers, Bloody Crayons, and the upcoming My Fairy Tail Love Story), they’ve been rumored to be a real-life couple. Elmo was quoted in several interviews that he would like to court Janella when he feels she’s ready. “It’s just really si Janella talaga, hindi pa siya ready to be in a relationship and I totally understand that,” Elmo said in a bloggers conference last October.
Their relationship remains to be “just friends,” but after seeing their sweet photos at the #iROByouveryMAXX wedding in Boracay, one can definitely see the love between these two. If they aren’t together yet, they sure look like they are well on their way to finally taking their relationship to the next level. Janella posted this photo and captioned it with a popular bible verse from 1 Corinthian 13:7, which describes love. The photo, taken by Elmo's brother Frank, was from Maxene and Robby's welcome dinner.
Elmo posted a similar photo in the tepee, where he appears like he can't stop looking at Janella. His caption is pretty sweet, too!
Her caption says it all! This photo of ElNella holding hands, with her head resting on his shoulder as they feel the sand between their toes, has earned more than 260,000 double taps on Instagram.
These two were inseparable as they held each other's hands a lot during the wedding! What a beautiful and stylish couple!
When they weren't holding each other's hands, Elmo would put his arm across her back and place his hand on her waist.
One of the highlights at the wedding reception is definitely the performance of Elmo and Janella, wherein they did a duet of Francis Magalona's "Cold Summer Nights." Their performance had all sorts of kilig-worthy moments—holding hands, looking at each other, getting really close. Of course, the best part was the moment Elmo planted a kiss on Janella's cheek.
