Hollywood Actress Emma Roberts Is Pregnant!

Surprise! Emma Roberts, the 29-year-old actress best known for her roles in hit TV shows American Horror Story and Scream Queens, is going to be a mom for the first time. Despite being extremely low-key about her personal life, this major milestone wasn't kept a secret from the public for very long and the lovely news has since set her fans into a tizzy.

Emma didn't follow celebrity pregnancy reveals by way of cryptic Instagram captions, dramatic maternity shoots, a good old fashioned baby bump photo. In fact she hasn't talked about her pregnancy at all and has been pretty silent about the whole thing but we're sure about the news' credibility. 

So then who, you might ask, spilled the beans?

Well, you can leave it up to excited grandmothers-to-be more excited than the mommies-in-the-making a lot of the time. 

Emma's mom and fellow actress, Kelly Cunningham, was totally responsible for the major life reveal. 

As the story goes, Kelly received a ton of messages from Emma's fans filled with well-wishes and congratulations on her now-deleted Instagram account. However, one particularly brave fan cut straight to the chase to ask if Emma really was expecting, to whom she responded, "Yes!!" Another fan went on to say that Kelly would make an amazing grandma. 

That's as much as we know about Emma's pregnancy—that, and that the daddy in this picture is the equally low-key actor, Garrett Hedlund.

You'll know him from movies like the Tron trilogy, Mudbound, or even 2010's Country Strong, but it won't surprise anyone if that's as far as it goes. 

The actor with Wild Wild West-esque rugged looks is notorious for keeping an ultra private lifestyle and has abstained from social media for as long as anyone can remember, which means that we likely won't hear any pregnancy announcements from his end anytime soon.

In fact, a good chunk of Emma's biggest fans are only finding out that she and Garrett were an item now. 

But in reality, the two have been together since March 2019 and have been a pretty solid package ever since. Garrett is Emma's first long-term relationship since she officially called it quits with Evan Peters, another American Horror Story star, who she shared an on and off relationship with. They were engaged before breaking up last year. 

Emma and Garrett have been spotted a couple of times going about their lives in LA (while responsibly wearing masks, of course) since news of her pregnancy first broke, but we have yet to see a heartwarming snap of Emma cradling an undeniable baby bump. 

We're definitely hoping to see more photos of a glowing Emma experiencing motherhood for the first time, but more than that, to hear her make the big announcement herself!

Emma and Garrett aren't the only Hollywood couples starting their families this year; Gigi Hadid and her boyfriend Zayn Malik are also expecting, and so is Lea Michele with her husband Zandy Reich. 

Meanwhile, Filipino celebs like Coleen Garcia, Dianne Medina, and Ryza Cenon are also getting prepped and primed for the arrival of their first babies this year.
