Emmys 2024: Celebrities on the Red Carpet

Following a four-month delay due to major labor strikes last 2023 by entertainment bigwigs and actor unions, the annual Primetime Emmy Awards starts another season this year with Hollywood’s top talents for television.

Hosted by the Television Academy, the Emmys was held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California today, January 16, 2024. The 75th edition of the prestigious event returns on the red carpet with celebrity luminaries no less than Jenna Ortega, Selena Gomez, Daniel Radcliffe, Jesse Eisenberg, Christina Ricci, Laverne Cox, and many more.

Series vying for success and with the most number of nominations are HBO’s “Succession” with 27, HBO’s “The Last of Us” with 24, HBO’s “The White Lotus” with 23, Apple TV+’s “Ted Lasso” with 21, Amazon’s “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” with 14, and FX’s “The Bear” and Netflix’s “Beef” with 13. 

Major accolades to be awarded at the international convergence include Best Drama Series, Best Comedy Series, Best Variety Series, Best Competition Program, Best Reality Program, Best Actor, and Best Actress.
