Sure, you may have seen Sang Heon Lee in Netflix’s XO, Kitty as resident rich kid Min Ho, but are you keeping pace with his recent projects?
The South Korean star also recently appeared in Gran Turismo, an American feature film with Stranger Things’ David Harbour and The Lord of the Rings’ Orlando Bloom in the cast.
In the current affairs department, the actor is partnering on a “secret” project with Filipina artist Julia Barretto, too, and posted a photo of them together on Instagram Stories a few days ago.

While the heartthrob originally hails from Seoul, South Korea, he and his family moved to Hong Kong for his father’s construction work. A chunk of his time as a child and teenager was hugely spent in his second home.

He completed college in the United Kingdom.
Apart from pursuing acting, Sang Heon Lee spent his days studying drama at the University of Northampton in England, which is why his English accent is also exceptional.

His starring stint in “XO, Kitty” is actually his debut in acting!
“XO, Kitty” served as Sang Heon Lee’s entrance to showbiz, and his first time to take on a film. In the offering, he portrayed one of the main characters, Min Ho, a massive “it boy” but with a soft spot.

While “XO, Kitty” is Sang Heon Lee’s first major acting project, he also appeared in a documentary before. During this stint, he was able to further hone his talent. His filming experience led him to explore and pursue acting as a profession.

He is a capable rock climber!
Aside from being an actor, Sang Heon Lee is also active in rock climbing. He is a real pro at it, and even has a page exclusively for his adventures. He is an avid fan of the sport, and features a lot of climbing logs in @climb_nice on Instagram.

He served in South Korea’s mandatory military service.
Like any regular lad in South Korea, Sang Heon Lee also rendered his time in the military and trained as a soldier to fulfill his service to the country. Upon coming back to Korea from the UK, he enlisted right away.

He tried modeling, too.
Right after rendering his time as a military trainee, Sang Heon Lee then proceeded to take on another creative aspiration—modeling. He explored modeling for half a year and was in the hunt for modeling gigs in the market.

According to a 2023 article by TV Guide, Sang Heon Lee worked as a waiter in the United Kingdom before. He was collecting customers’ cups from tables, putting them in place, and washing them, too.
