Filipino pacesetters who fronted the Philippine delegation include Bela Padilla, Kylie Verzosa, and Pia Wurtzbach. A dream invitation for Filipino artists and filmmakers alike, the cinema-oriented celebration ran from May 16 to May 27, 2023 in the French Riviera.

The resort town of Cannes in France is famed for its top-tier film fest, where talents in film and television flock annually to participate in the affair. This year, top Hollywood household figures showed up at the festival such as Johnny Depp and Cate Blanchett.

The congressman-actor was accompanied by Enchong Dee, Lorna Tolentino, Ria Atayde, Sylvia Sanchez, and Arturo Atayde at the big event. 2. Bela Padilla - “Spellbound” and “‘Yung Libro Sa Napanood Ko” actress and filmmaker Bela Padilla also attended the highly-acclaimed film festival to represent her rising production and co-creation platform AndRoll. The Filipino-British figure was accompanied by her Swiss boyfriend Norman Bay, with whom she attended the annual affair. Enchong Dee - It was a dream that definitely came true for Kapamilya celebrity Enchong Dee as he graced the gala of Richard Somes’ “Topakk,” Martin Scorsese’s and “Killers of the Flower Moon.” He even had a brush with entertainment bigwig Cate Blanchett when he saw the latter at the screening of Warwick Thornton’s “The New Boy.” “Thank you, Lord.
