Here Are All The Details Of Frankie Pangilinan's Jazz-Themed Debut
Doesn't it feel like just yesterday when Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Senator Kiko Pangilinan introduced the world to their first child together, daughter Simone Francesca Emmannuelle?
No longer the little girl that you might remember, the young lady—who many now know as Frankie—celebrated a milestone in her life this year: her 18th birthday!
Time really flew by fast. When people first heard I was doing @frankiepangilinan's party, they thought it was for her 7th birthday. I guess people have always remembered her as the wide-eyed little girl and proud daughter of Megastar @reallysharoncuneta and Senator @kiko.pangilinan It may be hard to believe that that sweet little girl is all grown up now and ready to face the world, carve her own niche and make a name for herself as she turns 18. The celebration held on the night of December 15 was a culmination of everything this debutante loved about life, her passions, and the dreams she hopes to come true in the years to come.
As a lover of music herself, Frankie aptly chose a vintage jazz-themed party to mark her coming of age, a vision expertly brought to life by event planner Teena Barretto and her team, the venue beautified by event stylist Gideon Hermosa, and the celebration captured on camera, moment by moment, by NicePrint.
Held at luxe destination Shangri-La the Fort Manila, this party was made extra special by the complete attendance of Frankie's family: mom and Metro.Style cover girl Sharon, dad Sen. Kiko, siblings Mariel and Miguel, as well as half-sister KC Concepcion and her boyfriend, Pierre Plassart.
Making the night extra memorable were Frankie's very own live performances (all done on an awesome stage complete with LED screens in the background) and multiple outfit changes that dazzled her audience.
Renditions of Dream a Little, Dream of Me, A Million Dreams (from The Greatest Showman), and Someone to Watch Over Me were some of the songs that were part of the birthday girl's repertoire, and were interspersed with dance numbers with friends and family.
Changing into a magnificent Mark Bumgarner number in sophisticated red to mark the climax of the evening, Frankie made sure to leave her mark on the world as early as now, signaling that great things are to be expected from a young woman as confident as herself.
Makeup artist Juan Sarte, on the other hand, was responsible for her fresh-faced look.
Those in attendance to experience the festivities included Kris Aquino's sons Joshua and Bimby, as well as NicePrint Photo's Charisse Tinio.
In awe of how her daughter has grown over the years, Sharon set the occasion's emotions in stone by penning a heartfelt tribute for Frankie before her big entrance as a young adult.
The open letter read, "Happy 18th Birthday again to one of my very best friends in the whole wide world, a lady with a pure heart, who loves God and has helped a couple of her friends to become closer to Him; my easiest baby when she was an infant then a toddler."
It continues, "She was so well-behaved you could’ve forgotten that there was a baby in our home! I love you so much my Baba. Again, thank you for your heart, your kindness and your love. I cannot express just how proud I am of you! May God give you all that your heart desires."
Topping the night off was a massive Empire State Building cake to match the big, bold, all-out atmosphere of the event; it was a concept that was also aligned with her NYC-themed pre-debut photo shoot.
