Gary Valenciano Announces He's Cancer-Free, A Year After His Diagnosis
Gary Valenciano himself just announced that he was cancer-free and stronger than ever.
The award-winning singer and dancer shared the good news on Instagram via a heartfelt video earlier this month.
Detailing all that he had gone through in the past year, Gary reminded his fans that he had undergone a bypass surgery last summer, was diagnosed with kidney cancer in May while still in recovery, and had gone through a second operation to remove the cancerous mass in June while managing Type 1 diabetes, to boot.
As difficult as it was to recall, Gary ended his reminiscing by letting everyone know that he was finally declared cancer-free and was back to his regular self, multiple shows and guestings included.

As a vocal Christian, Gary also didn't shy away from crediting his steady and quick healing to God and his unwavering faith in him.
"...I'm still in awe at how God kept me on the palm of Jesus' hand through it all. You know my friend? There really is no safer place to be than in His hands," he shared in his video.
To end his video, Gary also thanked everyone who supported him all throughout the ordeal.
"There is a deep gratitude in my heart; for my family, the doctors, my relatives, my closest of friends, the various churches and the fans," he wrote.
The touching post has been followed up with another video of a bible verse to help motivate his followers to be their best in the week ahead.
