Glaiza De Castro and her Irish businessman husband David Rainey exchanged vows for the second time around on January 23. The Filipiniana-themed wedding ceremony was held at Sundowners Zambales, beachside-style.

Back in October 2021, the two initially got married in Northern Ireland with a Game of Thrones-inspired celebration.

Last January 8, Glaiza’s close friends also threw a surprise bridal shower party for the actress, marking a reunion for the bride’s clique, too. The Rainey-De Castro nuptials were attended by Glaiza’s family and fellow actors such as Alessandra de Rossi, Isabel Oli, Maxene Magalona, Kakai Bautista, Ketchup Eusebio, and many more.

Created by Filipino fashion designer Jo Rubio, Glaiza’s Filipiniana ensemble was a standout masterpiece. The bride paired it with a custom-made Jefferson Si footwear, looking ethereal in every angle. On her Instagram account, the actress also shared that the theme is inspired by some traditional festivities in the Philippines.

With all the creative minds that Glaiza and David have on board, the celebration was utterly beautiful. The majestic setting and Glaiza’s bridal glow will not be possible without the team behind this once-in-a-lifetime moment. Glaiza and David’s friendship started to flourish when the couple met each other in Siargao back in 2018 for her birthday celebration. They made their relationship official in September 2018 and got engaged in December 2020 when Glaiza once paid a visit to David’s Irish hometown.

On IG, Glaiza posted about how she was so over-the-moon because of how the wedding ceremony turned out to be God’s own design. “‘Yun na ’yung pinakamasayang gift na natanggap namin dahil naramdaman ko na Siya mismo [ang] nag-abot,” she penned. “Ang saya lang makita na nandu’n lahat ng mga importanteng tao sa buhay namin.”
