Gong Yoo & Lee Dong-Wook Team Up To Surprise "Goblin" Co-Star Kim Go-Eun!
The actors sent a coffee truck to the "The King: Eternal Monarch" actress for Children’s Day
One of our favorite K-Drama bromance couples, Gong Yoo and Lee Dong-Wook, gifted their Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (Goblin) co-star Kim Go-eun with a coffee truck. And it was such a sweet surprise for The King: Eternal Monarch lead star.
Early this month, the actors sent Kim Go-eun a coffee truck—an act of support traditionally done in South Korea between industry friends, and from fans to their idols, to wish them luck. Coffee truck company Coffee Greate shared photos and a clip of the coffee truck that arrived in her drama set, featuring lovely images of the actress, who plays the role of Jung Tae-eul. It came with a banner of Gong Yoo and Lee Dong-wook in a scene from their previous drama.
Even though it’s been four years since they all starred in Goblin, their friendship went beyond filming—as revealed by the three in several interviews, spilling that they would hang out to catch up with each other. These oppas couldn’t help but congratulate and cheer for their one and only Goblin’s bride, who is now the "queen" of Lee Min-ho in The King: Eternal Monarch.
On Coffee Greate’s caption, the message reads, “The Goblin and the Grim Reaper prepared a coffee truck as a Children’s Day present for Eun Tak.” Ji Eun-tak is Kim Go-eun's character in Goblin. Gong Yoo and Lee Dong-wook praised her character through the scribble on the cups, which says, “Jung Tae Eul makes people’s heart race.” So adorable!
