"I'm very selfish. I'm the youngest in the family," Metro cover girl Heart Evangelista-Escudero confesses. "But when I became pregnant, it was like a spell. I was on a magical spell…it instantly transformed me!" Earlier this year, Heart suffered miscarriage that is truly heartbreaking and devastating for a mom-to-be. After taking some time off, stepping away from the limelight to heal and recover, Heart bounced back, and is now more unstoppable than she's ever been. She turned the pain she feels into a series of gains, refocusing on herself and at the same time picking up her broken pieces to become whole again for her and husband Sen. Chiz Escudero's future children.

Heart continues, "When I lost my baby, I didn’t think that would happen. I don’t question it. I feel, at least now, I know I'm going to be a good mom. I'm not scared anymore to become a mom. I look forward to that. And I'm enjoying whatever is happening in my life."

This experience allowed her to be more appreciative of everything she's so far blessed with. Heart puts her whole heart into her different passions and continues to inspire other women to always strive to do more and be more. Juggling showbiz with other facets of her as an artist, Heart has her plate full with various commitments as a painter, designer, Fashion Week regular, social media influencer, and recently, a vlogger.
