Here Are The Winners From The 71st BAFTA Awards

Look no further than the 71st British Academy Film Awards for your latest additions to your watch list!

The London’s Royal Albert Hall housed the glamorous 71st BAFTAs held on February 18, Sunday. The London ceremony hosted by Joanna Lumley honored the best talents in film and saw actors, actresses, directors, and producers grace the red carpet. Just as they did at the Golden Globes staged earlier this year, many attendees dressed in black to continue showing support for Hollywood's Time's Up movement. Also worth mentioning were the awards show's guests of honor, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Dramas and fantasy ruled the night with Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri taking home the most number of awards including Best Film, while Guillermo del Toro's The Shape of Water won him the coveted honor of Best Director.

Best Original Screenplay: Martin McDonagh, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

#Watched Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017). Directed by Martin McDonagh. ?? This film is remarkable in the sense that it takes risks that the vast majority of films wouldn’t even dare imagine. These are some of the characters, stories, complex mix of emotions, pacing, and visuals that strongly separate good films from great ones. If you want to watch a straightforward, one-dimensional, and bland movie, Three Billboards isn’t for you. Frances is so perfect in her role that the rest of this outstanding cast doesn’t always get to shine as bright as her. Not perfect, but undoubtedly exceptional. (Bonus: The reference to The Twilight Zone... or the one I imagined ??, makes it even better) #threebillboardsoutsideebbingmissouri #threebillboards #martinmcdonagh #oscars #oscars2018
