Here's How To Look And Feel "Divine" During Labor, As Proven By Divine Lee-Go
No, your eyes are not deceiving you; Divine Lee really got dolled up before she gave birth!
The wife, actress, model, TV host, and online influencer can now add another item to her long list of titles: mom.
On Saturday, she gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Basquiat Delfin, nicknamed Baz, at the Chong Hua Hospital in Cebu. Baz is the first addition to her family with her husband businessman Blake Go, who she married in August last year, and is the reason why Blake has now found her "purpose in life."
But Baz isn't the only highlight of this joyous occasion; aside from her healthy and quick delivery, Divine's fans were following their online and onscreen idol throughout her birth for a totally different reason: the 36-year-old made it a point to get made up before she went into labor, and wasted no time documenting the process on her Instagram account.
Rounding up her posts with the catchy hashtag #leettlego, her series of posts revealed all the painstaking efforts she went through to look her best for her little boy.
Letting her sense of humor eclipse the difficulties of her impending C-section, Divine quipped that her son wouldn't be able to say that she didn't get ready for his arrival, considering that everything from her hair and makeup, outfits, skincare products, and even Spotify playlists were all prepared beforehand.
She took the joke further by saying that she was surprised her husband had not violently reacted to the lengths she had gone through to get ready for Baz, explaining that there was nothing left in their house as she packed everything into four massive bags that she took with her to the hospital.
In the end, Blake, as well as Divine, knew that all of their preparations, months of waiting, and mixed emotions culminated in the most important thing they've experienced as husband and wife, so far: the welcoming of their first child, and the beginning of their new journey together as parents. Blake and Divine are now back at home with their bundle of joy after just two days in the hospital.
Divine's most recent posts of her new baby boy is one of him being cared for by his doctors and nurses in the delivery room, and one of him napping in a total state of peace. And, as it will come to no surprise to many, Baz's own Instagram account @baz.go is sure to get filled up with adorable posts of his first few days in this world, too.
