Just like they did on the cover of Metro, Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards made the mundane special—who knew escalators could look so aesthetic and romantic?

Metro cover stars Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards are booked and busy for the promo tour of their highly anticipated reunion movie, Hello, Love, Again.

The two have been going around different malls in the Philippines to reconnect with people, especially the fans of their blockbuster hit movie Hello, Love, Goodbye, inviting everyone to go on an epic adventure with Joy and Ethan again.

Earlier today, we revealed our latest cover, featuring Kathryn and Alden. The cover image, photographed by Charisma Lico, shows the duo on an escalator, as if ready to run away with each other. With Kathryn clad in an ultra-chic ensemble by Gucci and Alden in luxe pieces from AMI Paris at 8Rockwell, Carolina Herrera, and Dior, we echo what many of their fans are saying: they look "expensive."

Who knew escalators could look so aesthetic and romantic, right?

Later in the day, Kathryn and Alden went to SM City Iloilo as part of their Hello, Love, Again nationwide tour. And, how cute is it that they performed on an escalator, too, singing SunKissed Lola's song, "Pasilyo"?

They were initially on different sides of the escalator, but as Kathryn was singing, Alden suddenly jumped over to Kathryn's side, sending fans into a kilig frenzy. He got closer to her, and later handed her some tissue paper since she was wiping sweat off her forehead.

Cite a romantic spot: escalator. Agree?

Kathryn and Alden just made the mundane special. Such is the power of this power tandem.

Hello, Love, Again (the sequel to Hello, Love, Goodbye) hits cinemas starting November 13.
