The Reddit co-founder surprised his wife of three months with something that she could have never expected. Along the I-10 highway in Palm Springs, California are not one, but four billboards featuring Serena and their five-month-old daughter, Alexis Olympia. Serena will be driving along this particular stretch of road when she heads off to The BNP Paribas Open on March 5, the first tournament she will be participating in since she gave birth in September last year.

Each billboard features different photos of the mother-daughter duo and words meant to inspire the tennis star and remind her that her family is behind her, every step of the way. Collectively, they say, "Greatest Momma of All Time."

The encouragement couldn't be more welcome considering that Serena's upcoming competition will be her much-awaited comeback after she took a year-long break from tennis to care for her daughter and recover from post-natal complications. It will also be her first professional match after she historically won the 2017 Australian Open while she was expecting.

34-year-old Alexis announced his surprise via Instagram, captioning snapshots of the billboards with, "These just went up on alongside I-10 into Palm Springs. @olympiaohanian & I wanted to welcome her back to tennis. Designed them myself, with some help from Jr. #GMOAT." In a matter of hours, the post garnered over 50,000 likes and hundreds of positive comments.

Totally shocked by the revelation, the new mom replied with "Literally am crying. This is so sweet. I love you."

Serena and Alexis met in 2015 and married in November 2017 in New Orleans. Alexis Olympia is their first child.
