Hyun Bin and Son Ye-Jin's Cute Wedding Announcement

Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin just made their engagement Instagram-official, and they did so in the cutest, most romantic way—days away from Valentine's Day!

The phenomenal Crash Landing on You couple, who became real-life sweethearts soon after working on this series, announced their upcoming wedding by posting on their agencies' (VAST Entertainment and MSteam Entertainment) Instagram accounts, as well as on Son Ye-jin's own social media page (@yejinhand). Only a couple of hours since her announcement, her post immediately got more than a million likes. 

Hyun Bin, 39, shared a zoomed-in photo of them holding hands (with him in a black coat and her in a floral dress that's reminiscent of one of her outfits in their hit K-drama), as well as a scanned handwritten letter. His statement partly reads: "I have made the important decision of marriage and am cautiously taking steps toward the second stage of my life. I have made this promise with the woman who always makes me laugh (Son Ye Jin): to always walk together in the days that lie ahead." 

Son Ye-jin, 40, on the other hand, shared a photo of a super cute miniature wedding dress on a hanger. In her caption, she writes, "I have a person that I want to spend the rest of my life with. It’s true. It’s the person you’re all thinking of (Hyun Bin). Just being with him gives me a sense of warmth and dependability."

Onscreen, Son Ye-jin got to wear wedding gowns/dresses four times for her character portrayals (in photo below, from left): for the 2003 movie First Love Rally, 2004 movie A Moment to Remember, 2008 movie My Wife Got Married, and 2013 K-drama Don't Look Back: The Legend of Orpheus.

Now, we can't wait to see what her gown will look like for her wedding to Hyun Bin!

Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin are getting married this March with a private wedding ceremony to be held in Seoul.

The reel- to real-life couple first worked together on the 2018 film The Negotiation, shortly followed by 2019 K-drama Crash Landing on You. It was in January 1, 2021 when they were confirmed to be dating, as revealed by a Dispatch report. Their third project together is a TVC for mobile services provider Smart Communications, Inc.
