We Cannot Get Over Janella Salvador's La La Land Moment With Elmo Magalona In The US

Janella Salvador is proof that if you chase your dreams hard enough, it’s bound to come true—especially, if you’ve never let go of the magic that’s in your hands.

For her 20th birthday last March 30, the actress turned her favorite movie into her own version of reality. After spending her special day at Disneyland Park in the US, she made a rendezvous to a shooting location of movie musical "La La Land" to recreate a scene between Emma Stone (Mia) and Ryan Gosling’s (Sebastian) characters. Joining Janella in this trip is her love team partner Elmo Magalona. What a lovely pair!

She posted photos shot at Griffith Park, the location of the scene where Mia and Sebastian danced all night, beginning their love story. Janella captioned her first post with a line from the song, “A Lovely Night,” which the leads sang in the motion picture. The post was followed by a stunning photo of the Griffith Observatory from Janella’s perspective, and finally shared shots of her with Elmo holding each other’s hands. 

 

I chose to spend my birthday here because I am *obviously* the biggest La La Land fan. Something about the music, cinematography, characters & storyline captured my heart and since then it had been a dream of mine to visit the beautiful places they shot in (check my previous post). It gives me so much joy to think that I was finally able to experience it on my special day with people who are close to my heart. I can’t thank Ate Abie enough for getting me the exact same dress Mia (Emma Stone) wore in the film and of course, Elmo, for being patient enough to do all the crazy things the fangirl in me wanted to do. My La La Land heart is soaring! ??

It seems like Emma's character is a perfect fit for her, too, what with her acting prowess, dance skills, and angelic voice. Who knows, in the near future, she could have the opportunity to play a role similar to Mia from "La La Land." In the event that that happens, we trust that she will do a fantastic job.
