Kapamilya actor and Banana Sundae member JC de Vera became a first-time dad two months ago, but didn't introduce his baby girl to his eager fans until recently. The touching social media reveal featured JC and his partner, Rikkah Cruz, cradling their newborn daughter, Lana Athena, in a series of professionally shot black and white family portraits.

Sweet in themselves, the photos were made better by the 32-year-old's caption that read, "My Strength. My happiness. My Inspiration. My motivation. My Love. My Life."

JC, who keeps a relatively low-profile of his personal life online, took the time to share his newfound love of fatherhood with his 900,000 plus Instagram followers, proving his genuine happiness in becoming a parent for the first time.

In a previous exclusive story shared by ABS-CBN News, JC was quoted explaining how fatherhood has made him more responsible, dedicated, compassionate, energetic, and time-conscious, making sure that all that he does is for his growing family.

“Lahat ng ginagawa ko is for them na, not anymore for me lang,” he said.

The new dad is set to begin a journey of a lifetime with Lana at the center of it all while continuing to work on ongoing projects including drama series Since I Found You and gag show Banana Sundae, as well as the upcoming series The General's Daughter, which he stars in with Angel Locsin.
