Jennica Garcia Gets Real About Beauty and Healthy Aging
She said, "Whatever is giving you hate, you have to learn when to let go [of that]"
Jennica Garcia is the new face of Bioessence. It was a milestone she celebrated with the beauty clinic chain during its 30th anniversary event, “Caring Beyond Beauty,” held recently at The Blue Leaf Cosmopolitan.
The 34-year-old actress is following the footsteps of her mom, Jean Garcia, who was also a face of this beauty brand.
So, how does she maintain her youthful demeanor and look, together with Bioessence? Jennica points out that like Bioessence, instead of promoting anti-aging, we should embrace healthy aging—embracing imperfections and seeing the beauty of them all.
In a brief conversation with Metro.Style, she shared that she really believes in the skincare brand, mentioning their oxygen facial and body scrubs as some for her recommended treatments. Jennica also talked about her skin non-negotiables, which include things like a really good cleanser and a reliable water resistant sunblock.
“I think it’s nice na kung paano nag-a-advance 'yung science,” Jennica shared. “Ang ganda na ang dami na nating options to keep aging at bay and to age beautifully. While Bioessence has treatments that are age-old practices, tried and true, evidenced-based, nakakatuwa rin na very innovative rin sila. Ang dami nila iniisip na ways on how to continue offering non-invasive treatments that give results.”
We also Jennica for a life tip, based on her personal experiences. She told us, “When you are not happy in life... Whatever is giving you hate, you have to learn when to let go [of that]. Mamimili tayo ng laban sa buhay. Parang 'yung mga masyado mabigat, alamin natin kung kailan sila dapat bitawan at alamin natin 'yung ano dapat natin pinanghahawakan para gumigising tayo nang masaya. Kasi nakikita 'yun sa mukha natin.”
Last September 26, Bioessence celebrated its 30th anniversary, with a grand event graced by key opinion leaders, stakeholders, employees, loyal customers, and influential figures who have contributed to the brand’s success over the past three decades.
The event featured performances by Bossa Nova singer Sitti and crooner Richard Poon. The venue also housed different stations, featuring Bioessence's latest products, machines, as well as a visual wall narrating how the brand was built by Dr. Emma Beleno and the Bioessence family.
The anniversary delved on the journey and evolution of the brand, coinciding with new innovations in services and products. This lineup includes a partnership with OxygenCeuticals, an oxygen-based skincare brand from South Korea, a redesigned website, and a new wellness application, Essie.
