3 Things We Love About Jinyoung And His Fanconcert in Manila

What a rendezvous it was, and the Filipino Ahgases surely had a blast with Jinyoung's sexy performances and hilarious banter with them

<p>To say that Korean actor and K-pop idol <strong>Jinyoung</strong> is the overall package would definitely be an understatement. Not only is this handsome oppa an amazing singer and dancer, he&#x27;s also a charming, versatile actor一wow, that&#x27;s one sentence packed with adjectives, and we&#x27;re not even exaggerating! </p><div><br/></div><p>At his fanconcert (brought by concert and event producer <strong>PULP Live World</strong>) held last February 26, Jinyoung entertained his fans and made them feel loved in different segments. With the concept &#x27;<strong>Rendezvous</strong>,&#x27; he couldn&#x27;t contain his happiness and excitement about meeting the Filipino <strong>Ahgases </strong>(<strong>Got7</strong>&#x27;s fandom name) once again. &#x27;I miss you so much,&#x27; he told the ecstatic crowd. He exchanged jokes and engaged in a hilarious banter with fanconcert host <strong>Kring Kim</strong>! He even cracked jokes of his own onstage with such great timing and on-point delivery, making the fans laugh out loud. When a fan shouted &#x27;Jinyoung, <em>saranghae</em>,&#x27; he shouted back at him, saying, &#x27;Nado!&#x27; which basically means he loves him too! </p><div><br/></div><p>During a segment called &#x27;<strong>Actor Park Jin Young</strong>,&#x27; he had recordable plush teddy bears which, when pressed, rewinded his pre-recorded voice notes; when the fans were shouting, and he couldn&#x27;t hear the recordings, he hilariously told the crowd several times, &#x27;Ssshhh!&#x27; Or when he was asked what his similarity with his <em><strong>Yumi&#x27;s Cells 2</strong></em> character Yoo Babi is, he said, &#x27;Face.&#x27; </p><div><br/></div><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:950px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img loading="lazy" src="https://assets-metrostyle.abs-cbn.com/prod/metrostyle/attachments/c80bae78-a261-45ee-9494-a9dd40a5fe39_20230226_174221 a.jpg" style="width:950px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" alt="Park Jinyoung Rendezvous fanconcert in Manila"/></span></span></div><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:950px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img loading="lazy" src="https://assets-metrostyle.abs-cbn.com/prod/metrostyle/attachments/26135ef8-e674-4b6a-b183-74e867bbb8c8_20230226_180038 a.jpg" style="width:950px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" alt="Park Jinyoung Rendezvous fanconcert in Manila"/></span></span></div><div><br/></div><p>For the &#x27;<strong>Jinyoung&#x27;s Moments</strong>&#x27; segment, where rare photos of Jinyoung were shared, he said that he&#x27;s the one who often takes photos of the other members so he doesn&#x27;t have a lot of photos of himself. He shared in jest, &#x27;I have so many pictures in my cell phone of the other members… Very dangerous cell phone. I have to destroy it.&#x27; When host Kring asked what his favorite subjects to photograph are, he said that he used to take lots of photos of his fellow Got7 members, but these days they&#x27;ve all been about &#x27;sightseeing,&#x27; adding jokingly that it&#x27;s because he&#x27;s alone and even sung &#x27;Lonely. I have nobody!&#x27;  </p><div><br/></div><p>During a segment where he gave gifts to his fans who were celebrating their birthdays on that day, he wrote them letters onstage. Fans were asked to tell him the messages they wanted him to write. He was very generous with hugs and really interacted with the crowd. He took photos with some of them (even adorably art directing their poses together) and gamely granted a fan&#x27;s wish for them to recreate onstage the dance battle of Jinyoung and his fellow Got7 member Jay B in the K-drama <em><strong>Dream High 2</strong></em>.  </p><div><br/></div><p>In return, the fans made sure to make Jinyoung feel extra loved with a special video presentation filled with heartwarming messages and words of encouragement for their idol. After seeing the video, he said, &#x27;Thank you so much and I love you so much Philippines.&#x27; He added through a translator, &#x27;<em>Nakakalungkot dahil isang araw lang tayo nagkasama</em>... <em>Pero pinapangako ko sa inyong lahat na babalik ako</em> and <em>sana</em> you&#x27;ll still be healthy <em>hanggang ako&#x27;y muling bumalik</em>.&#x27;</p><div><br/></div><p>Before the show came to an end, Jinyoung told the Filipino Ahgases, &#x27;Thank you for being with me. Then in 2014, he debuted as a vocalist of JYP Entertainment&#x27;s boy band <strong>Got7</strong>. He starred in K-dramas like <strong><em>He Is Psychometric</em></strong>, <strong><em>The Devil Judge</em></strong>, and <strong><em>Yumi&#x27;s Cells 2</em></strong>, and will soon star in a webtoon-based series titled <em><strong>Witch</strong></em>.</p><div><br/></div>
