The talented actress who has been enrolled at Southville International School and Colleges since June 2017 is a student under its Bachelor of Science Psychology program, a course that many of its pupils often pursue as a stepping stone to further studies in medicine. With just a year of studies left, Jodi—who once expressed her interest in learning more about oncology (the study and treatment of tumors) and in exploring guidance counseling as a career path—is proving to be a wonderful fit for the program.

With the end of her current semester, Jodi didn't just land a spot on the Dean's List, but finished with a GPA of 3.800, making her her major's top student and the 7th best performing student in the school, overall. Impressively, it wasn't the first time that this wonder mom made headlines for being a model student; she was proud to be part of the honor's list in January, too.

For her biggest acadamic achievement to date, the 36-year-old posted a video of her proudly receiving her certificate of recognition from the school at a ceremony. Clearly teary-eyed and happy that her hard work had paid off, Jodi captioned the touching video with a heartfelt message on faith, personal growth, and getting one step closer to graduation.

These past years of taking up a pre-med course has molded me, trained me, tested me...but here I am almost at the end of the race as I finish my last year of undergrad studies. I’ve played many roles in my life — an actor, daughter and most importantly being a mother. But being a student had me seeking out one of the most important gifts from God — the chance to pursue my BS Psychology degree. Each subject I had was an opportunity to develop myself and achieve new accomplishments. With every challenge and experience, God prepared me and taught me to run my race without quitting. I have learned to be receptive to the whole process, more aware of what I am learning and why. I want you to know how exciting and stimulating an education can be. With a grateful heart, I am beyond happy to share with you that I was able to finish this semester with flying colors. Thank you, God for the gift of perseverance, patience, and the eagerness to learn and become a student of life. I am just at the start of what will be an even greater journey, and I am excited where it will take me. One year nalang...push pa more! ?? “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; They will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:31 ????????

The determined beauty has inspired her followers yet again with the feat, using herself as an example to showcase the value of education and ambition. As someone who has constantly expressed her desire in earning an undergraduate diploma and followed through on her words, Jodi has given us one more reason to admire her even more than we already do!

She joins the list of other famous faces in the country who decided to enroll in a course and finished it, or returned to their studies after a long absence. Together, these celebs are definitely the kind of role models we want to have.
