The Osaka Asian Film Festival is held annually. It celebrates fine films from various genres and different countries and regions.

LYSB is a film that follows the story of a socially awkward girl, Mika, who believes in aliens. She met a simple and good guy named Caloy, but was surprised to know he has cancer.

The two characters went on a road trip filled with adventures and misadventures. Little did they know that meeting and having each other would become the most memorable experience for both of them.

JoshLia’s movie is among the four local films selected to celebrate 100 years of Philippine cinema at the said film festival. Joining them are Sigrid Andrea Bernardo’s Mr. and Mrs. Cruz, Mikhail Red’s Neomanila, and Giancarlo Abrahan’s Paki (Please, Care). The three films mentioned are set to compete for the festival’s top prize, against 12 other entries from across Asia.

“I have nothing but gratefulness for LYSB and the people behind it. Galing ako sa 'creative breakdown' before this, at binuhay nito 'yung ningas sa puso ko,” the movie director reminisces about the movie through an Instagram post. “I've been very insecure and unsure of my filmmaking for a long time and this film gave me that much-needed confidence to finally call myself a director after 10 films (I used to just see myself as a scriptwriter who can direct, at best). Aside: probably one of the best things my friend told me about LYSB: 'it should always remind you why you’re doing films.' So salamat, LYSB. You re-started a fire in my heart.”
