In Photos: Kapamilya Celebs Who Joined The Motorcade, Noise Barrage, And Candle Lighting Protest For ABS-CBN
Angel Locsin, Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Kim Chiu, and more stood in solidarity with their fellow Kapamilyas

On Saturday, July 18, hundreds of Kapamilyas as well as supporters of ABS-CBN gathered in front of the ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center in Quezon City for a noise barrage to express their dismay, anger, and hurt regarding the non-renewal of the network’s franchise.
Prior to the noise barrage, a motorcade which started in Ayala at 3:30PM was held, passing through different cities until it reached ABS-CBN at around 6PM. Everywhere around the triangle on which ABS-CBN stood, there was a flurry of the same three colors—red, green, and blue—and the same fighting words: “Yakap Kapamilya,” “Defend Press Freedom,” “Ibalik ang ABS-CBN,” and “Kapamilya Forever.”
This outpouring of love and support for the network and its workers comes after Congress’ decision to not renew the broadcast franchise of ABS-CBN last July 10, which then resulted in the company having to layoff many of its employees.
At the noise barrage, several celebrities and personalities were present and stood in solidarity with their fellow Kapamilyas—from Dyan Castillejo, Kylie Verzosa and Jake Cuenca, Edward Barber and Maymay Entrata, Vina Morales, Toni and Alex Gonzaga, Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, Ria Atayde and mom Sylvia Sanchez, Mylene Dizon, Melai Cantiveros-Francisco, Bianca Gonzalez-Intal, Kim Chiu, Billy Crawford, and of course, Angel Locsin. President and CEO of ABS-CBN Carlo L. Katigbak was even seen on his way to the noise barrage late that afternoon.
Here’s what they had to say:
